Wonderful, Fabulous, All this for US, Beautiful, Different, Inspiring, The food was GREAT, when is the next one, The DJ even played our kind of music, and just plain WOW!!!  Are just a few of the words I heard on Saturday from the young people that attended the event with me.  Including the two makeovers Desiree Houston, and Jeraeia Stanley, who were totally surprised at being chosen  for the beauty makeover.  Marcus, Michael, and Marvin are marking the calendar for next year’s event.

I just want to thank you again for giving our foster child, and our own children a chance to see they are beautiful, inside and out.  Inspiring them to look forward in life and not just settle.  That we care as parents, as neighbors, and as a community.

THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU AGAIN, for allowing me to be a part of this event, as I told you in our first conversation this means a lot to me, growing up in a home where all my life my parents did foster care. Giving back to the community is what we do, it’s just who we are and what I do.  I LOVED every bit of that event.

As far as vending for Traci Lynn that was just extra, be I thank you for the opportunity, it opened new doors for me, and allowed me to network!

September 21st 2009 – B2B & Community Expo

Middletown Area’s 1st Ever Business to Business / Community Expo was held on 9/21/09. Over 80 Vendors, Sponsors, & Volunteers participated in this inaugural event which contributed to its overall success! Approximately 200 visitors joined us at the Expo (that beautiful Sunday afternoon) despite distractions from the noted Eagles Game, and NASCAR’s Monster Mile. Our overall feedback was Plentiful Positive! A few highlights to note included the following………
